The Kingman Pool Players site is running better than ever with more people receiving standings by email, more visitors, and more information.  Thanks you to everyone that uses it and gives feedback.  I would take more pictures and videos and put them on the site but I have had a few complaints.  Some of these complaints are just from paranoid people who think the FBI is watching the site and looking for them.

The schedule has changed again.  This will give us 11 teams and a 22 week season.  Thank to everyone for letting us make these changes.  All Captain's were called and 80% responded that we could wait another week to let in another team.  All other printing is done except the new schedule so I should be able to deliver packets tomorrow between 5pm and 6pm.  The dates have also been updated on the calendar.  If you have printed a schedule from the website, destroy it.  The new one will be completely different and we will be taking a week off in July for the players that do go to the BCAPL Nationals.  The only other holiday that may interfere is Veteran's Day.  Since most people have it off and the clubs will be open we are going to play. That will make the last game of the season November 25th.  This will make our end of season the weekend of December 6th.  Please think now on where you want it and spread the word around so we can start planning now.

The new Summer schedule has been post to the website.  I know everyone is wondering about where they play.  We got ten teams.   So we will have an 18 week schedule.  Printing is almost done and packages should be delivered tomorrow (Monday).  The schedule has been improved on the website.  The first way is it can now be printed by clicking on the little printer icon in the upper right of the article.  The second and more important way is that now you can pull up just your team schedule by selecting the team name from a list and clicking the submit button.  This page can also be printed.  Location schedules will be delivered to each club that has teams.

Even though places and players have known for more than a month that the new league was coming, we still get complaints that there is not enough time between sessions.  Captain's are still getting player information and Clubs are still trying to sign up teams.  What will it take to bring this all together?  Someone better than I obviously.

Hopefully, we will receive all information so I can make packets by Tuesday for the Captain's.  I have set the delivery date back again to Saturday.  If the general consensus is we need more time then we will push back the start date as well.  As usual let us know what you think by posting to here or on Facebook so we can get a discussion going.  The Board Members haven't said anything so I think they are all ready to go.  We haven't heard from several clubs or Captain's that were interested in joining.  What do you think players?  Can we make the deadline?

The Charity League has lost another player.  Not because he wanted to go but because he was called to play for the greatest team, Team Everlasting.  The Elks Lodge will be having a Celebration of Life for Kevin Lewis on June 28th at 12 Noon.  Even though Kevin, and the Elks Lodge, have not been playing with us for long, he will be missed by all that knew him.  Please stop in and wish him well on his new journey.
